The Galaxy S5 has 5.1-inch Super-AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 Pixel HD resolution and 432ppi pixel density, whereas the higher version possess 5.1-inch, Super-AMOLED display with QHD 2560 x 1440 Pixel HD resolution and 577 ppi pixel density. The processor too has been upgraded from Quad-Core to Octa- core processor. There are a few changes made in the Galaxy S6. The phone has done away with expandable memory and removable batteries. While you can enjoy the benefits of further memory expansion and removable battery in the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S6 restricts it. The Samsung Galaxy S5 only has 2 GB RAM, whereas the Galaxy S6 has 3GB RAM. When it comes to battery capacity, the Galaxy S5 has better battery life with 2.800mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy S6 only has only 2.550mAh battery capacity. Though, there has been no change in the quality of rear camera, but in the Galaxy S6 front camera was upgraded to 5MP camera.
Though the Galaxy S6 might be clearly a step towards advancement for the Samsung, but there are still a few things that a user can only enjoy with the Galaxy S5. There is no doubt; the Galaxy S6 has given the consumer a better looking phone, better camera, better display. But, at the end of the day, it is a consumer likes and preference which makes a smartphone thumb’s up or down.
